Harees is the predecessor of the famous Hyderabadi Haleem. Barkas is probably the only place that serves harees throughout the year. There are two harees shops here and are open only 5-10 in the morning. Do try their sweet harees, the curry they pour over the namkeen harees may not go well for everyone.
